The Story Julianna is a lovely bride in Oceanside, California who did an on-location boudoir session with us in her new apartment. She opted not to have the session in our La Mesa, California studio because she wanted the background to be personal to her. She also opted to her images unedited because she wanted it to be completely natural. She was doing the session as a wedding present for her groom, Matthew. We created a little fusion video for Matthew to watch just before he walks down the aisle. On the wedding day, we captured the grooms reaction of seeing the boudoir images for the very first time. It was magical! Enjoy!

2013 Finally Finalized We are happy to announce that after several changes in design and content, The Romance Specialists has finally finalized our 2013 collections and pricing! Virtually all of our changes stem from past and current client feedback. We listen to you and base our business around you and your unique needs. We are excited for the New Year and hope you enjoy the changes we have made. Office Tour Many of our clients don't have the opportunity to see where the "romance" happens so we have posted a few cell phone pictures of one of our offices so that you can get a sense of where you are calling and what we are about. This specific office is Dawn's office, the person who most people are emailing and calling in to.

Where the romance happens. From top to bottom, features an antique candelabra with taper candles backed by a vintage inspired Paris themed painting. Four awards including 2011 & 2012 The Knot Best of Weddings, 2012 Bride's Choice & 2012 Best of Honolulu flanked by two vintage inspired English garden bouquets. Next level from left to right are bride's wedding files, our Lavender Vanilla room spray to keep things smelling lovely, a Paris themed storage box filled with office supplies, our little black wedding book, more files and wedding mailers. Bottom level is our in box & notes, computer and office supplies. Everything a a girl needs to make a little wedding romance!
Not much of a view, but the window holds our 2008 ISP award for Outstanding Achievement in Photography, scented reeds, candles and two positive meditation statues for calm, serenity and focus. (Something every wedding planner needs!). Below are three boards including a white erase board for urgent bridal "to-do" notes, a post it board where we post important notes, photos and thank you cards followed by our gratitude board.
Thank you for taking a tour of one of our offices. We hope this allows you get to know us a little better since so many of our destination wedding clients never get to visit our office in person. We want to end 2012 in a fun & fetching way that celebrates our love for romance. So, we invite you to be a part of our first ever Mr. Romance 2012 contest!
The Original Mr. Romance
The original "Mr. Romance" is the man behind the scenes & husband to Dawn, the First Lady of the Romance, Mike Smith. When the pair first dated he sent Dawn one dozen roses every day for a week and on the seventh day, he even covered the bed with rose petals. He proposed to Dawn at sunset on Waikiki beach. Romance reveals itself in various ways so when Dawn said that she wanted to go to Second City to study improv, Mike said yes & supported her in her crazy venture of comedy which melted Dawn's heart. He was there for her when she gave birth to their children Rose & Dylan. When Dawn said I want to start a company that brings the world love, Mike said "I support you." After 13 years of marriage, he still surprises her with flowers & gifts. But what truly makes him the original Mr. Romance is his unwavering support & love to Dawn & their family. He truly is the man behind the romance at the Romance Specialists and the one & only original Mr. Romance.

Romance reveals itself in various ways but the one thing it does is melt your heart. Romance can be something as simple as a kiss or a love note. Romance can be grand gesture or act of love. Romance can be supporting you when nobody else is and standing by your side in the darkest of times. Romance are little & big things that melt your heart and let you know He IS THE ONE. Who Can Enter
This fun, playful contest is open to ANYONE - you don't have to be Romance Specialists client to enter. 18 & older.
2. Post on Our Facebook Page a photo of the man you are nominating along with a very short yet honest reason why he should be picked as Mr. Romance 2012.
3. Tell your friends & family to vote for him by "liking" his photo as well as to leave a comment below his photo.
4. Keep telling people to vote for him over & over again until it ends on November 30, 2012.

Mr. Romance Fan Favorite 2012 - Whoever has the most likes on the Facebook photo you posted on OUR wall will automatically win Mr. Romance 2012 Fan Favorite.
Mr. Romance 2012 - Will be selected by the Romance Specialists based upon the comments in the boxes below the photos left on our wall. While having more comments is helpful, we are really seeking quality not quantity when it comes to comments. The Romance Specialists will pick someone based upon the photo, story under the photo and comments left.
